One of the security officers was shot multiple times after confronting robbery suspects at an Oakland marijuana store.
The shooting was reported about 8:24 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of 23rd Avenue.
A security officer watching over a Target store under construction was stripped of his weapon and shot by a man who walked up to the security officer Sunday morning at around 6 am.
Police say that the security officer was outside the Target store, located on East 29th Street and 2nd Avenue, when he was approached by a man shortly before 6 a.m.
The 58 year old security officer is in stable condition.
As of right now, four security officers have been killed, six others have been shot and one security officer has been hospitalized in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle.
