IFPO Approved Training Center Program

The International Foundation for Protection Officers continues to recognize the need for both quality educational opportunities for security personnel as well as quality Training Centers which will facilitate these opportunities. We firmly believe that regardless of the quality of the program the delivery and learning experience for the student must be conducive to a professional outcome. While the IFPO has several globally industry recognized programs and certifications we are aware of many organizations that have developed and deliver industry specific, demographic specific and corporate centric programs. Having an independent body endorse these programs will only add to the value to both the organization but the students who engage in these programs.

As the International security industry's leading security personnel educational provider and developer of the United States Department of Labor Security Officer and Patrol Services Competency Model we are equipped with the ability and expertise to review and analyze various programs to ensure they align with the high standards of the IFPO in addition to this Model.

An IFPO – ATC Review Committee has been established in which upon receipt of an application will carefully by way of a supporting document will carefully review all components of the application. This review will consist of the following:

Upon successful review the IFPO – ATC will be awarded the digital credentials. Frameable certificates and wall plaques may be purchased at cost. An exclusive listing at the IFPO website. IFPO will utilize the various social media platforms to announce the success of this review. IFPO will also on request of the IFPO – ATC make additional announcements via the various social media platforms.
