Chris Hertig, CPP,CPOI a member of ASIS International Chapter 79 (Central PA) has been awarded ASIS Life Membership. Life Membership is available to persons with 20 consecutive years of membership, are permanently retired and have made a notable contribution to ASIS International.
ASIS International is the world’s largest association of security management professionals. It has over 200 chapters worldwide and provides numerous resources on Physical Security, Investigation, Terrorism & Crisis Management. ASIS hosts an annual Global Security Exchange attended by 20,000 people annually as well as offering professional certification processes such as the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation.
The Central Pennsylvania chapter holds monthly meetings offering professional education and networking opportunities. It also holds an Annual Seminar. This year’s topic will be “Active Shooters: Lessons Learned” on Friday, April 19, 2019 in Hershey.
