Here's a Facebook post from Matt Parker, CEO of Independent Security Advisors, s dignitary/executive protection company, about a charity initiative involving schools reopening in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic:
We have already announced our charity and community service recipients for EP class 0823,
But this is your chance if you live in North Carolina within 45 minutes or 45 miles from Salisbury to nominate a public elementary school planning on reopening or a specific student to receive school supplies.
Why 45? That's how many friends, family and graduates we know have been directly affected by COVID 19.
Send nominations with a brief reason why you feel they need the supplies to mparker@eptraining.us
The class will select 2 schools or 10 children to receive the supplies.
They could select 1 & 15 or 20 children as well.
So send those nominations and you will be notified by Aug 22nd of those selections.
