It was just like you said it would be.

I’m glad I learned all of this.

When talking to former students, those are the statements heard most often by Matthew Parker, Chief Executive Officer of Independent Security Advisors (ISA).

ISA, a veteran-owned investigations and security consulting firm, has designed dignitary protection training programs that are accredited, internationally recognized, and meet or exceed Federal Law Enforcement and U.S. Military training standards. IFPO members can take advantage of these training programs at a reduced rate.

According to Mr. Parker, over 80% of ISA’s private students come from security positions, and these graduates go back to their companies and earn promotions and advancements more quickly than their peers because of their higher level of specialized training. “Many security guards say the training is not for them, but it is exactly for them,” observes Mr. Parker. “They already have the appropriate mentality and thought process – they want to protect others- and these students make excellent Executive Protection Agents,” he continued.

ISA Training Programs

All of ISA’s training programs include an introduction to the basic methodology of “protection in depth” with a strong emphasis on the use of technology, resource management, and the legal considerations involved with providing both private and government close protection services.

Mr. Parker states that most students find the threat assessment, advance work training, and the basics of professionalism briefings as the things they fall back on the most.
